Tedious

After playing this game a wile back i decided to re-instal the app and see what was new and unfortunately its not as good as i remembered. Its BIGGEST issue is the A.I. The AI is not smart as it is cheap. Meaning it dose not try to out play you with unit mixtures and strategic placement rather it is just given an unfair advantage to extend gameplay. Now claims my be made to say it was just my skill that is at fault. However, I played through and beat three consecutive games that all ran the same way.

I was playing the Russian campaign on normal and the all the AI did was send riflemen every 2 sec. I was able to hold them off with my own riflemen by using cover but whenever i began to advance the AI goes into panic mode and sends 4 squads all at once. So then i decided to mass a large group of rifle men to bulldoze my enemy and win. This worked my units up all the way to the enemy bunker were i was halted by the intrenched enemy so i decided to fall back to the nearest cover point and recover my troops. This is ware it becomes ridiculous. I was then bombarded by not 2 not 4 but 5 consecutive bombing runs. Each one right after the next. Sent every time i fell back to the next cover point. Until i was back at square one. All the mean wile the AI was pumping out squad after squad wile i was barely surviving. I only beat it by repeating my charge with an artillery strike at the end. This was repeated 3 times and by then i quit playing.

This game isnt unplayable but the cheap AI makes it so tedious it feels more like a chore than a game. Fix the AI or dont bother with it.
